Jamaican Curried Lamb

A flavour-packed easy curry using our Caribbean Curry Seasoning from our Caribbean Creations range*. Perfect for a curry night and delicious served with Ainsley rice, our Caribbean-inspired Couscous or try our new roti mix for a fabulous side.


Prep time:  10-15 mins | Cooking time: 70 mins

In a saucepan heat the oil & fry the lamb over a medium-high heat for 2 mins to lightly brown. Reduce the heat to medium, add the onions & cook with a lid on for 5 mins.

Add the ginger, garlic, curry seasoning, stock & tomatoes, stir well, bring to a simmer & cook for 45 mins with a lid on.

Remove the lid & cook for a further 15 minutes until the sauce has thickened.

  • 600g lamb leg, diced
  • 1 white onion, diced
  • 1 x 400g tin chopped tomatoes
  • 400ml beef stock
  • 40g root ginger, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp oil
